Mayor, City Council, Salt Lake City Planning and Historic Landmark Commission briefings and reporting. 

Sep 2018 - May 2020

 

 Update architectural designs and prepare detailed engineering designs; keep neighborhood residents updated and seek feedback on architectural designs; procure construction services.

Feb 2020 - Aug 2020 

Notify neighborhood residents about construction schedule; begin construction, provide residents with regular construction updates.

Fall 2020

July 2017: SLCDPU engineer assigned the project.

Fall 2017: First architectural renderings and conceptual plans developed. 

July 2018: Presentation to Greater Avenues Community Council and Capitol Hills Neighborhood Council.

August 2018: Public open house at City and County Building. 

September 2018: Historic Landmarks Commission work session.

October 2018: Presentation to Greater Avenues Community Council.

October–December 2018: Resident engagement to answer questions and work to reduce project footprint. 

November 2018: Hansen, Allen and Luce, an engineering firm, hired to conduct a feasibility study and well analysis.

December 2018: Public open house at Marmalade Library and meeting with City Urban Forestry Department to

discuss tree preservation. 

January 2019: Presentation to Greater Avenues Community Council about design updates and revised planning application.

March 2019: Historic Landmarks Commission work session. 

April 2019: Hansen, Allen and Luce feasibility study and analysis completed.

May 2019: Public open house onsite at 4th Avenue Well; resubmit planning application with revised design. 

June 2019: Historic Landmarks Commission public hearing. 

September 2019: Urban Forester assesses tree roots surrounding well site.
